President Tressel is inspired seeing so many students and alumni, as well as faculty and staff, adapt and overcome in the face of ever-changing rules and mounting frustrations from COVID-19. Several pages highlight the recent achievements of alumni. YSU completed its first on-campus semester of the pandemic this past Fall. YSU's "We See Tomorrow" campaign hits historic high. Grant activity hits a 12-year high. Dozens of federal, state and local political and education leaders attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the new $12 million, 54,000-square-foot Excellence Training Center at YSU. YSU gets President's "E" Award for its ongoing international enrollment efforts. A penguin mural highlights a new campus park. Lincoln Hall becomes Cararo Hall and the Phelps Building becomes Silvestri Hall. The McDonough Museum of Art brings architectural swagger to Wick Avenue. Williamson College welcomes new dean, Kelly Wilkinson. |
