A group of about 50 students gathered outside Tod Hall after a student walkout at 10 am. Jan. 22 to protest President William "Bill"Johnson's first day as YSU President. At noon Jan. 22, about 25 students, faculty, staff and community members gathered for a rally to show support for YSU President William "Bill" Johnson. YSU's Student Government Association will host an open body meeting from 4 to 5 p.m. on Jan. 29 in the Rossi Room of Kilcawley Center with YSU President William "Bill" Johnson. Students returning to YSU at the beginning of the spring semester were unable to access the FAFSA form. YSU's Athletic Department is taking steps to secure a safe space for student-athletes with diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. The YSU women's basketball team begin its three-game homestand Jan. 18 with a victory over Purdue University Fort Wayne. The YSU men's basketball team continued Horizon League play at home for two straight games and then hit the road for two more matchups. |
