Jambar interviews YSU's first lady, LeeAnn Johnson. Ben Sherwood, an award-winning media professional, spoke at Stambaugh Auditorium on March 11 as part of the Marguerite Thomas Colloquium Lecture series. History of government relations and YSU is given. Human trafficking is discussed. AI technology and policy is looked at. The Islamic holy season of Ramadan is featured. The Cooking Club and Students in Dietetics are collaborating to celebrate national Nutrition Month at YSU. For Women's History Month, female athletes have left their mark on a historically male-dominated industry. The indie pop and rock band, Boyscott, is featured. The YSU women's basketball team reach the end of their season with a 13-17 overall record and a 9-11 record in the Horizon League. Women's lacrosse season starts slow. Tye Hunt, senior long jumper, qualified for the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championship.Senior Madie Smithco and junior Lizzie Saur each earned top 10 individual finishes for the YSU women's golf team at the Howard University Lady Bison Invitational in Gainesville, Florida. An abrupt end to the season came in the second round of the 2024 Horizon League basketball Championships for the YSU men's basketball team. en_US
