dc.description.abstract One candidate for Homecoming King had his flyers taken down across campus because of the use of the phrase "Vote or Die." Campus police are investigating a rash of thefts from Fedor hall with losses exceeding $16,000. A resolution focusing on improving faculty, staff and administrative relations was passed during the first meeting of the Youngstown State University Academic Senate. The Butler Institute of American Art recently announced the purchase of the former First Christian Church, which will become the new Butler Education Center. Plans are underway for the centennial celebration which will being with homecoming festivities in 2007 and end with homecoming 2008. A program starts at Maag library this week which will allow students to borrow textbooks for classes. en_US
