dc.description.abstract | The Jambar sponsors a contest with a cash award to be given for the best "Pep" song. Joe Hanna was recently appointed as Editor-in-Chief of the Jambar. Professor Joseph Smith is the new Social Science Head. President Jones writes a letter of welcome to the new Freshmen. This year has the largest Freshman class in the history of the school with 150 students. The main building received new paint and new interior decorating for the new year. A debating team is to be organized at Youngstown College under the supervision of Dr. Bunn. The Jambar list their policies Editorial includes the lack and possibly negligence of campus activities. A question goes out to students of whether or not Youngstown College should sponsor a football team. Mr. P. C. Pickard was recently appointed as the new business manager for the School of Liberal Arts and will also teach accounting. | en_US |
