dc.description.abstract To the winner of the YoCo-Kent game tonight goes a novel historical trophy, a canoe paddle with Indian inscriptions designating that the aged piece of wood is a receipt for the Youngstown territory. Kent State University vandals raided the Youngstown College campus and painted the sidewalks, building and windows with signs four feet high with the words "KENT" and "K.S.U." Dr. Clair Worly, head of the department of biological science of Youngstown College, has been elected a fellow of The American Association for the Advancement of Sciences, the oldest general, national, scientific society on the continent. Editorial comments on the unenthusiastic cheering section in the football stands and encourages support for the college's chapter of the American Veterans Committee. There is a profile of Mr. J. B. Williams, director of the Business school. Youngstown College sophomore, Robert J. Kilpatrick, was elected First Ward councilman of Warren, Ohio in recent elections. en_US
