dc.description.abstract Controversy ensued over the Philosophy Department’s plans to offer a course in Neo-Scholastic philosophy, due to issues involving separation of church and state. The official YSU count for full-time students declined from 90 percent of total enrollment to about 74 percent. A debate on the Vietnam War was announced between the History Department’s Chaplain Morrison and Father Daniel Lyons of Gonzaga University. The British musical combo Chad and Jeremy performed for the Homecoming festivities. en_US
