dc.description.abstract Author and business critic C. Northcote Parkinson, was to be the Skeggs Lecturer in Stambaugh Auditorium. An appearance on campus by U.S. senatorial candidate John J. Gilligan drew 600 students. Opinions regarding the upcoming presidential election were presented. YSU’s “Pepsi Generation Artist,” Richard T. Mitchell, Associate Professor of Fine Arts, was profiled, as was Denny Klembara, the first freshman to lead the YSU football team and a breaker of many Penguin gridiron records. en_US
