The design for a new $5 million engineering and science building was announced, slated for completion by 1967. Newly-appointed Jambar staff were approved by Student Council and the Faculty Publications Committee. Senior Laraine Santangelo was selected as Miss Youngstown. A lecture by Shepard Mead, author of “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying,” was set for March 22. Representatives of the Peace Corps were slated to visit campus. Registrar Mary B. Smith was honored at a sorority tea, Professor Leslie Domonkos (History) received his doctorate from Notre Dame, and a lengthy commentary of the Irish was presented. |
