dc.description.abstract | Theodore Berndt wins top prize in Goodwill Writing contest. The student body and members of the faculty will participate in a special program to commemorate those who died for our country during WWII. Class of 1949 presents the college with a gift. A 10 ton granite bolder with a bronze plaque which inscribed is "Youngstown College 1908 presented by the class of 1949." Mildred Hadley has been elected as Queen of the State Conclave.
