dc.description.abstract Theodore Berndt wins top prize in Goodwill Writing contest. The student body and members of the faculty will participate in a special program to commemorate those who died for our country during WWII. Class of 1949 presents the college with a gift. A 10 ton granite bolder with a bronze plaque which inscribed is "Youngstown College 1908 presented by the class of 1949." Mildred Hadley has been elected as Queen of the State Conclave. Spring football practice begins Monday. en_US
