dc.description.abstract The annual semi-formal May Dance scheduled for Idora Park tonight, climaxes the three-day celebration of 1950 May Day festivities. Mr. Carl Taylor, bank executive and former history professor, will deliver the commencement address. Colonel Richard M. Jones is taking applications for registration in military science courses for next fall. 80% of the student body favors the addition of a course in dancing to the student activity program. Lapel Awards for achievement in radio will be represented to qualified members of the YoCo Radio Workshop. A micro-library reader, first of its kind to be installed in any Ohio College library, was demonstrated recently by Dr. Ivan Grimshaw. Professor John W. Bare, adviser at the Veterans Guidance Center at YoCo, has been accepted as a professional member of the Vocational Guidance Association. Jambar reports on a mock arrest of Anthony Vivo, who volunteered to help the city with the police training and was cast as a "burglar." en_US
