dc.description.abstract Frank Jaczk, Rebecca Westfall, and Paul Maloney, business manager, of the Neon, were appointed as editors of the Neon at a Student Council meeting last Wednesday. Annual Thanksgiving Dance is to be held November 24. Jay Cashon, sophomore, saved a women from drowning in the Mahoning River. Former parking lot for students is closed after the company that owned the land filed a complaint against the College. Miss Helen Johnson, former student, as been appointed Assistant Librarian. Professor Bunn returns to campus from a forced vacation. The Jambar joins the Associated Collegiate Press, national newspaper chain. Freshman, Jerry Vanish, was released from the hospital after 6 months to recover from a broken back. Junior Bob Anderson tells of his nine month stay in Europe. Article features students working on campus. John Rau, former Roumanian and a YoCo Sophomore, compares Foreign sports with American games. Basketball Coach Sweeney will be assisted in his coaching job by "Swede" Hunneke. en_US
