dc.description.abstract | Reports from the Student Council and the Pan-Hellenic Council (a comparatively new organization with a similar one prior to it the Inter fraternity Council). Youngstown College enrolled 35 veterans of the armed forces who have been discharged and have returned to enter college under the Veterans Rehabilitation Program. A new course in cooperative merchandising leading to a college degree is being offer in cooperation with the Retail Merchants Board of Youngstown Chamber of Commerce. Miss Mary Ann Smith has assumed the duties of college nurse and will have a hospital room on the first floor of the Business School. Dr. George M. Wilcox is featured in the Jambar Limelight. Organizational activities are announced. Football Roundup is a new column to comment on national collegiate football games and intramural games while the students at YoCo await the return of football and basketball which were suspended because of the war. | en_US |
