The foreign language requirement continued to generate controversy. The Major Events Committee announced a concert on April 5 by Aerosmith, Rush, and (tentatively) Brownsville Station. A curriculum was proposed for NEOUCOM. An exhibit of the inventions of Leonardo DaVinci was planned for Kilcawley Center. The services of the Counseling Center were highlighted. Car pool letters were to be sent out for those who expressed interest in conserving fuel. Plans for the new library were revealed as hours for the present one were extended. An instructor promoted bicycles, a Jewish leader promoted Israel, and campus Libertarians promoted the free market in a series of talks and presentations. |
