dc.description.abstract YU Faculty Senate established a standing committee relating to student foreign language requirements. President Howard Jones addressed the Senate meeting, as well. Dean of Men John F. Gillespie delivered an address to a rush reception, stressing the importance of fraternities and sororities in campus life. Elaine Cooper was selected Homecoming Queen in one of the closest elections to date. The concept of “womanhood” was featured in a substantial article. en_US
