dc.description.abstract A motion to table the construction of floats for the 1963 Homecoming Parade was tabled by the Inter-Fraternity Council. Student Council treasurer Ron Lautzenheiser called for changes in the allocation of funds for campus organizations. The play “Androcles and the Lion” was being performed by the University Theatre, while the Dana Opera Workshop prepared to present “Gallantry.” A representative of the Peace Corps addressed students. E.E. Rehmus’ book “I’m Over Here” was reviewed. The Dana School of Music received the gift of a Steinway piano from a Warren Couple, while the campus prepared for Sadie Hawkins Day. The YU football team defeated Texas Lutheran College 13-6. :YU halfback Tony Congemi, son of John “Ace” Congemi, star quarterback of the 1939 and 1940 Youngstown College squads, was profiled. en_US
