dc.description.abstract Discussion over the Athletic budget vs. Academic budget continues with the University and the Board of Trustees. Dr. Thomas Shipka resigns from both the Academic Senate Executive Committee and the Academic Senate. ABC Pentagon correspondent Bob Zelnick speaks at YSU as part of the Special Lecture Series. Environmental Health Services help keep campus hazard free. As part of National Collegiate Awareness Week, Dr. James Depiore lecture on "Cocaine Babies." Crime Awareness Fair sends a message for YSU to "play it safe." The Programs and Activities Council plans a three-day St. Patty's Day celebration with music and stunts. John Stroia was given a contract extension and Ray Hernan was hired for recruiting for the YSU men's basketball team. Donna Wertz is the Student Athlete of the Week. en_US
