dc.description.abstract Youngstown College grid followers will view the 1940 edition of "Dike" Beede's cardinal and gold squad tomorrow night at Rayen Stadium. Featured Personality of the Week is football coach Dwight Beede. Denton T. Doll, a.k.a. "dopey doll" by students, joins the fall faculty of Case School of Applied Science in the Metallurgy department. The sixty year old horse and coach barn of the former Mr. H. K. Wick situated on the west side of the college campus is being converted into a laboratory of applied science and will be referred to as "Building of Applied Science." The Phi Kappa Delta fraternity became the Iota chapter of Kappa Sigma Kappa national fraternity. President Jones is in the hospital as a result of a leg infection. YoCo's first homecoming queen, Marie Barrett, adds another tradition to the college by becoming the first Youngstown co-ed to receive her "wings" pilot license. A mighty boulder, located near the main college entrance on the Youngstown College campus, has been donated to the college by officials of the Bessemer Limestone Company. en_US
