dc.description.abstract Easter messages by both Roman Catholic and Protestant chaplains were presented. Marlene Kurilla was named sponsor for the Pershing Rifles. The YU Chess Club came in second at a meet held at Gannon College. Floyd Jones, the classified manager of the “Vindicator,” spoke at a meeting of the Alpha Mu advertising fraternity. Joseph Hahn, a Dana School French horn major, was selected to play with the American Wind Ensemble in Pittsburgh. U.S. Steel announced that it would award a $75,000 grant to YU. en_US
