dc.description.abstract	The Dean’s Council of the Rayen School of Engineering announced that it would sponsor its First Engineers’ Ball. Applications for Fullbright Scholarships and other awards were advertised. The country of Laos was spotlighted in the section called “Newland.” Promising baseball player Andy “Pudge” Kosco was featured in the sports pages.	en_US
