dc.description.abstract Youngstown First Ward Councilman David E. O’Neil criticized the morals of YU students in the midst of a controversy involving a city parking ban on Wick Oval. The local NAACP chapter began a remedial reading program for area students and citizens. The Rev. Burton Cantrell of Wesley Methodist Church was to speak at the Religion in Life group about “The Playboy Philosophy,” while civil rights was the topic of discussion at the Newman Club. Student Council proposed photo ID cards for the student body. The Penguin football team prepared to meet the Augustana College (S.D.) Vikings in the final home game of the season. en_US
