dc.description.abstract After 12 years as director of Cooperative Campus Ministry for YSU, the Rev. James E. Ray will retire. Student Government presidential candidates face off in debate. Professors Beverly Gartland, chair of sociology and anthropology, and Michelle Stone, sociology and anthropology, attend a conference on aging at the White House in Washington D. C. YSU's Health Care and Dental Hygiene facilities are two of campus's best-kept secrets. Financial professor, William Petrych, died at home. Band fraternity, Kappa Kappa Psi, raises funds for Oklahoma bombing victims. Newly formed BlackBox Productions offers YSU theatre student a chance to spread their creative wings and do a completely student organized theatrical production. YSU track teams finishes their and fifth at Mid-Continent Championship. Faculty Focus is on the new English Festival director, Dr. Gary Salvner. en_US
