The Youngstown College Alumni Association, a long desired and expected association, has been organized at Youngstown.
An educational fraternity has been started by Dr. Wilcox, YoCo's educational head, with an eye towards becoming a member of the Kappa Delta Pi, a national honorary fraternity, of which he is a member. Rachel Griffiths has been elected May Queen for 1934. The Jambar details where the students' activity fees get invested into. The second annual Open House held on April 05 and 06 was very successful and will be a permanent feature. June 18 marks the beginning of the Summer Session lasting nine weeks at Youngstown College. Former Yoco student, William Hartman, is studying overseas in Berlin. Mr. William Maag, editor of the Vindicator, spoke to students of Journalism about the importance of a college education in the field of journalism. |
