dc.description.abstract The death of Dr. Carol Gay, professor of English at YSU, was announced. She died on December 18, 1985, after a prolonged battle with cancer. She taught at YSU since 1957 and is noted for being the co-founder, with her husband Dr. Thomas Gay, of the YSU English Festival, established in 1977 in honor of their late daughter, Candice. en_US
