dc.description.abstract 19-year old YSU student Gina Tenney was found dead in the Mahoning River on December 30, 1985. The Mahoning County Coroner ruled that the cause of death was strangulation. Tenney was the vice-chairman of Student Council and was set to advance to the chairmanship. She was also a student assistant in the Students Serving Students program. A memorial service was held in Kilcawley Center and a scholarship fund was established in her memory. en_US
