dc.description.abstract	"A diamond evokes thoughts of power, glory, wealth, commitment, beauty, hope, and love. The people of Youngstown embody many of the characteristics that make a diamond so valuable. Like a diamond, Youngstown is precious. Our value lies in our location, natural resources, history, and especially in the sparkling diversity of our talented people." Born in Youngstown, Mary Catherine Hall earned her B.A. in Fine Arts from YSU in Spring 2004. She studied in Italy in 2002 and has exhibited in numerous area shows, including Mahoning Commons Community Open House; Oakland Center for the Arts; McDonough Museum of Art. She has received commissions to paint wall murals as well as portraits of private individuals.	en_US
