dc.description.abstract "The penguin is one of very few species of birds that cannot fly. We have created a symbolic interpretation of an emperor penguin's dream of taking flight. Our creation is a realistic rendering of an emperor penguin from the head to the middle, fading down into the clouds to symbolize his longing to fly. His feathered wings are poised behind him as he proudly stands." Staff members from The Prodigal Media Company, a marketing communications firm, teamed up to design and create A Penguin's Dream. John Battaglia, Jason Fellows, John Partridge, and Roberta Procner all received BFA degrees from YSU. Shari Pritchard is a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh's Visual Communications Program. Jeff Hedrich is president of the company. en_US
