dc.description.abstract "The chance to represent a city, a community, a nation, is a chance not to be denied. Youngstown is a city whose steel manufacturing industry played a large part in building our great nation. The use of semi-precious metals in my design is intended to show our historical wealth, the wealth that we still possess as a strong and diverse community, and the wealth I personally feel as an alumnus of Youngstown State University." Edward Anthony Krug is a graduate of Wilson High School and YSU. He is a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society and the National Dean's List. He has extensive experience in theater set design locally, and for large shows at MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Currently, he is working on an exhibit of Native American Headdresses based upon techniques developed by the Plains Indians. en_US
