dc.description.abstract |
The focus of the research presented here is the synthesis and use of tlifluoroethyl
vinyl phosphates as electrophiles in the Suzuki coupling reaction. The first step involves
the synthesis of vinyl phosphates with the bis(2,2,2-tritluoroethoxy)phosphinyl group.
The cross-coupling reaction of vinyl phosphates with arylboronic acids, using catalytic
amounts of Ni(O) and K3P04, in anhydrous toluene provides new methods for the
synthesis of aryl-substituted olefins. |
