dc.description.abstract |
The focus of this research was a nucleophilic substitution of l-alkynyl anions with
bis(2,2,2-trifluoroethyl)phosphorochloridate as the electrophilic center. From this
research, we have achieved a greater understanding of the chemistry of nucleophilic
carbon on highly electrophilic phosphorus and how the reaction can be performed to
favor the monosubstituted bis(2,2,2-trifluoroethyl)phosphonoalkyne product in moderate
to good yields. |
