dc.description.abstract	President Howard Jones presided. President Jones commented on the donation of State-owned property on Scott Street and that it will be used temporarily as a lot for student parking. Jones also updated the Senate members on the Urban Redevelopment Program. Three Honorary Degrees will be given at Commencement this year : Mr Wean (Doctor of Humanities), Congressman Kirwan (Doctor of Conservation), and Governor Rhodes (Doctor of Laws). It was moved and seconded that a Committee of the Senate be appointed to further study the University grading system. Dean Smith reported on the Committee on Publications.
