dc.description.abstract	President Jones presided. Mr. Dykema presented the Professional Ethics statement which was revised and adopted by the Academic Standards Committee. Dean Smith reported on the work of the Curriculum Committee which included : approval of a major in Geology, approval of two courses in Pre-Forestry, and approval of a new course Orientation 101. Commencement will be on May 31st. Mr. Hahn discussed enrollment forecasts. President Jones announced that Dr. Pugsley will be his successor. Mrs. Smith reported on the Selective Service exam and announced Major John Ozaki and Major Maynard Hilton will be leaving for active service. The new sciences building is progressing on schedule. Senate moves to express appreciation to the retiring president, Dr. Howard Jones.
