dc.description.abstract	President Pugsley presided. The Constitution and Bylaws Committee made a statement of the Committee's work during the summer and on the Committee's plan for the current quarter. The Senate Executive Committee appointed an Ad Hoc Committee to study the method of Appointment and Tenure of Department Chairmen. The Academic Affairs Committee reported on revising the grading system as it applied to five courses made available by the School of Education and the change in the calculation of the quality point average when repeated courses were involved.
