dc.description.abstract Vice President Earl E. Edgar presided. The Constitution and Bylaws Committee prepared a Motion to amend the Constitution that would admit students elected by students as voting members of the Senate. Discussion followed this suggestion and will be decided by a closed mail-in ballot. The Executive Committee of the Senate reported. The Curriculum Committee reported on courses changed and discussion followed on department representation for departments affected by course changes. The Special Events Committee reported on speakers for the upcoming academic year and a break down of the expenses. The Student Affairs Committee reported emphasizing on International Students.The Committee on Teacher Education reported its recent developments. Student Academic Guidance and Registration Committee reported on Early Registration. President Pugsley was elected as President of the North Central Accrediting Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools.
