dc.description.abstract	President John J. Coffelt presided. President Coffelt reviewed some of the rules of the Senate as reminders. The Executive Committee of the Senate reported on the criteria for the selection of a chairperson for the Senate. Nominees for an Interim Chairman of the Senate were announced and will be voted on by Senate members by a closed mail ballot. Dr. Caryl Freeman is the new Secretary for the Senate for the academic year. The Curriculum Committee reported on course changes. President Coffelt introduced the new student members of the Senate.
