dc.description.abstract	Chairman, Dr. Jean Kelty, presided. Charter and Bylaws Committee reported on election procedures and modified various bylaws. The Executive Committee reported on changing the day of the regular Senate meetings beginning in Fall 1979.Dr. Feitler reported on the Ad Hoc Committee to study the early quarter system. Dr. Largent reported on the Chancellor's Advisory Committee. Academic Affairs reported on the approval of speech and science courses and the approval of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program. The Curriculum Committee reported on the prerequisite "Consent of Instructor and the approval of the Labor Studies Courses.
