Abstract

Chairman Larry Esterly presided. Charter and Bylaws Committee reported that ballots to approve Article III, Section 4 (a) were in the mail. Elections and Balloting Committee reported that ballots for Senate seats will be distributed. Senate Executive Committee reported on vacancies and preference forms for committee positions. Dr. George Beelen reported on the Faculty Advisory Committee. Curriculum Division reported. Library and Media Center Services Committee reported on the approval of the Library Budget Committee's proposed Allocations for the 1984-1985 academic year. The Ad Hoc Subcommittee for Review of the Black Studies Program reported on recommendations to strengthen the program. The Programs Division reported on internal changes to the Economics and Psychology Departments. Academic Planning Committee reported on recommending a procedure for setting department and college goals.
