dc.description.abstract	Chairman Larry Esterly presided. Dr. Humphrey gave opening remarks. The Senate Executive Committee reported on committee appointments and the creation of an Ad Hoc Subcommittee for the Review of the Black Studies Program. Dr. George Beelen reported on the Faculty Advisory Committee. Elections and Balloting Committee announced nominations for members of the Charter and Bylaws Committee and for Chairman of the Senate. The Library and Media Services Committe reported on the allocation of extra funds.
