Academic Senate Minutes Meeting of March 05, 1986

Abstract

Chairman Dr. Rost presided. The Senate Executive Committee reported on changes in the Academic Senate membership, concepts of Value-Added Testing, and future meetings. Dr. Khawaja reported on the Faculty Advisory Committee. The Academic Standards Committee passed a motion to adopt the Associate Degree Pre-College Entrance Requirements. Informational reports were given by the Academic Standards and Events Committee, the Curriculum Division and the Programs Division of the Academic Programs and Curriculum Committee. The Committee on Undetermined Majors reported. The Computer Services Committee passed a motion to maintain current computer service centers across campus. Unfinished business from the Academic Standards and Events Committee is continued with a motion to amend wording of Science/Math Area Requirements and changing the Humanities Area Requirements.
