Academic Senate Minutes Meeting of May 04, 2005

Abstract

Tom Shipka, chair of the Academic Senate, presided. An update of the Provost Search Committee is given. The Senate Executive Committee has met to discuss the issue of faculty evaluation of administrators. Thanks is given to a number of Senators retiring this year and to the Senate Secretary, Bob Hogue and Senate Parliamentarian, Bill Jenkins. The Elections and Balloting Committee announce the results of elections are appended to the agenda. Items approved by the Academic Programs Committee and the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee are attached to the agenda. The Ad Hoc Committee on Student Academic Grievance Procedures reported on the committees consideration of student grievance procedures. A presentation on the Campus Master Plan was given by Hunter Morrison and David Reed.
