dc.description.abstract	Dr. Rost, Chairman, presided. The Senate Executive Committee reported appointments to Senate Committees and Subcommittees has been completed. Dr. Ikram Khawaja reported on the meeting of FAC. The Elections and Balloting Committee reported. Academic Standards and Events Committee reported on Humanities credit. The Academic Programs and Curriculum Committee reported on a propsal for a new major, Professional Writing and Editing. Student Academic Affairs Committee reported on students signing up for two or more classes at the same time. Academic Research Committee reported on the Research Assistant Program.
