dc.description.abstract	Dr. Beaubien presided. Since a permanent Chair has not been selected yet for the academic year, Dr. Beaubien is Chair pro tem. William Jenkins was selected Parliamentarian pro tem and Virginia Phillips Secretary pro tem. Elections and Balloting Committee reported on additional Nominations for the Charter and Bylaws Committee and it was motioned to distribute a fourth ballot to elect a Senate chair. The Senate Executive Committee reported on some changes in committee assignments. The Faculty Representative to NCAA reported. The Academic Planning Committee and the Academic Programs Committee presented reports for informational purposes. The Continuing Education Subcommittee motioned to approve the Guidelines for YSU Noncredit Programs. The Ad Hoc Quarter/Semester Study Committee reported. A Motion to Adopt a Resolution in regards to the Strategic Plan was approved.
