dc.description.abstract	Dr. William Jenkins, Chair, presided. The Elections and Balloting Committee reported on the results of the Quarter/Semester question. 29 votes were for the conversion and 54 votes against. The Senate Executive Committee reported on the presidential search, the Board of Regents evaluating YSU funding, and a congratulations to Jim Tressel for winning the 1991 National Division IAA Football Championship. Dr. Rost reported on the Faculty Advisory Committee. The Academic Programs Division reported on looking at the Academic Minor as an Academic Unit. The Library and Media Services Committee reported the need to develop an integrated central catalog. The Global Awareness Committee reported on a new course for approved study aboard. R. Campbell reported as Faculty Representative to NCAA.
