Academic Senate Minutes Meeting of March 03, 1993

Abstract

Chairperson Baldino presided. The Senate Executive Committee reported on the status of three searches : the Arts and Sciences Dean, the Executive Vice-President, and the Vice-President for Student Affairs. The Curriculum Division Committee reported on curriculum proposals. The Honors and ICP Committee reported on the appointment of a designated honors advisor. The Global Awareness Committee gave an updated on its work dealing with the study abroad programs and international studies program. The Standards and Events Committee gave an update on the SB 140 program. New Business pertained to having Provost Scanlon and Student Government President, Bill Burley, give reports at the Senate meetings.
