dc.description.abstract Hugh Earnhart, Chair, presided. The Senate Executive Committee reported on Hugh Earnhart's meeting of the chairs of Academic Senates of other universities. A decision was made to form an Ohio Faculty Council to represent the interests of faculty statewide and would meet quarterly. The Honors COmmittee requested to consider honors courses equivalent to graduate courses for work load purposes. It was decided that the Senate has no authority over work load and the motion was tabled. Academic Standards reported that the honors requirements of YSU were consistent with those of other state universities and would not need revision. The Curriculum Committee reported on course approvals. The Academic Programs reported.
