dc.description.abstract	Hugh Earnhart, Chair, presided. Senate Executive Committee reported that Spring elections will begin and that student senate representatives are encouraged to participate more in Senate and committee meetings. Bill Jenkins reported on the GER committee activities. New Business pertained to the issue of semester conversion and that the Academic Research Committee would review all grant requests under the pending state grants for acquisition of facilities for research purposes.
