dc.description.abstract	Jim Morrison, chair of the Academic Senate, presided. Discussion continued with the General Education Motion from the last meeting. Nominations for Senate chair and members of the Charter and Bylaws Committee were taken. Jim Morrison noted that a new planning cycle has begun at YSU (YSU 2008) and the Senate and its committees will be involved. The Senate Executive Committee reported it will be reviewing committee charges and structures. The Curriculum Committee continues to process Q2S proposals. The General Education Committee made corrections to the list of courses approved by the committee attached to the Senate agenda. New Business pertained to proposed amendments to the GER goals 11 and 4.
