dc.description.abstract Jim Morrison, Chair, presided. Provost Jim Scanlon spoke about Community, Quality, and Integrity. The Senate Executive Committee spoke about where the Senate should be going. The Senate Executive Committee started questioning open enrollment versus selective enrollment and requested the Academic Standards Committee to look into it. Duane Rost reported on the Faculty Advisory Committee to the Chancellor with topics pertaining to the allocation of faculty workloads. Nominations for Chair and Vice Chair of the Senate and for the Charter and Bylaws Committee were given. Unfinished business pertained to the President's challenge to Senate approval of the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program.
