Abstract:
Presented are the agenda and minutes of the meeting of the Board of Trustees of Youngstown College on October 20, 1947. Highlights include: the enrollment report; the addition of new faculty members; the search for a head librarian continued; the Law Library relocated to the first floor of Annex 1; a government report indicating that Youngstown College ranked high in the amount of government aid obtained; the utilization of surplus buildings obtained from the U.S. Government; the construction of a cafeteria; the allocation of two Quonset huts for use by the engineering school; the acquisition of the Clark property; the need to replace equipment in the Business School; an increase in interest and ticket sales for the football team; and the financial report.
