dc.description.abstract	Presented are the minutes of the meeting of the Board of Trustees of Youngstown College on October 16, 1944. Included are enrollment figures (with numbers dealing with the College’s wartime aviation training programs) and the financial report. Personnel changes were announced. President Howard Jones was authorized to apply to the Ohio Department of Education for authority to grant the degree of Bachelor of Engineering. A finally contractual settlement was achieved regarding the aviation cadet training program. Thirty-four veterans were attending YoCo. Dean George Wilcox was named to attend a special course on testing and providing guidance to returning veterans. Two members of the staff were granted approval to take up graduate degree work. A salary increase was approved by the Board.	en_US
